Overview
Pearl is the Version 4.6 Ice Elation sustain and Planarcadia's CEO. Skill heals the team and banks Certified Banger. Talent spends that resource as Repellency, blocking 60% of an ally hit, with extra damage reduction when someone is at 50% HP or lower. Ultimate marks one other ally as the Aesthetic Archetype and starts Deep Learning, which upgrades her Basic ATK into a heal. She cannot mark herself.
How to Play
Use Technique on the carry you want marked, then enter combat. Skill when the team needs healing or Banger is low. Ultimate just before that carry's burst, not the moment the gauge fills. With one, two, or three Elation characters the mark advances their action by 10%, 15%, or 30%. At four Elation characters they get an extra turn with temporary Certified Banger and Punchline. Spend that window immediately.
Optimal Rotation
Technique on the carry → open with supports → Pearl Skill if HP or Banger is low, otherwise Basic → Ultimate onto the Elation carry before their dump → enhanced Basic (Render the Great Wave, or Imagenate the Starry Night if the Archetype is Elation) → repeat. Aesthetic Firewall refunds 90 Energy when an Elation Archetype uses their next Ultimate.
Strengths
One slot covers healing, damage block, a debuff cleanse on Skill or enhanced Basic, and an action push. Panoptic Vision turns DEF past 2,400 into Elation, and part of that Elation becomes Outgoing Healing. Colors for Tomorrow also makes enemies take more damage after her Elation Skill, up to 22% in a four-Elation squad at S1.
Weaknesses
Her extra turn and the 40% Elation Skill multiplier need four Elation characters. On the current StarPatch roster the only other Elation unit is Aventurine • Waveflair, so most accounts play her at the two-Elation breakpoint. She is a sustain, not a main DPS, and slow teams starve Certified Banger because allies' turns are what generate it.
Investment Priority
Level Ultimate, then Talent, Elation Skill, and Skill. Farm Dreamlit Actor after you can clear the domain; Messenger Traversing Hackerspace is the stand-in. Stop at 2,400 DEF, then chase 160 SPD. Signature Colors for Tomorrow before eidolons unless you already own a spare Until the Flowers Bloom Again.
